The next episode of the series of guided tours “Wandering through the Museums” (16th June, 5:00 p.m.) will let the visitors admire the City Collections of Art and then, as usual, La Quadreria in Rossi Poggi Marsili Palace, of ASP City of Bologna. This time the link between the two expositions will be particularly clear, as in the City Collections are preserved four paintings of saints by Ubaldo Gandolfi, to whom the entire eighth room in La Quadreria is dedicated.
The initiative allows to discover and admire artworks that, even if belonging to different museums, are part of the same great heritage, arrived to the charitable institutions through legacies and donations by benefactors, and today property of ASP; their exhibition to the public gives the visitor a different look on Bologna’s school of painting and on Bologna’s history itself.
